Tom's Story Book Document
21st September 1993
This has been released for everyone to enjoy (or not!)
Tom's Story Book was written using Gold Disks HyperBook(tm).
This file was written for a parent or guardian to read as opposed
to a child who this book is really aimed at. You should read this file and
then pass the information on to the child.
Tom's Story Book was originally written during 1990 to help teach
my to young sons, then aged 7 and 5, to read proficiently and to aid them
with their computer skills.
What is Tom's Story Book
Well, put simply Tom's Story Book is just that, A story book.
The only difference between a computer book and a conventional book
is that the computer turns the pages for you. You just point the mouse
pointer, press the button and the page is turned. Simple!
This book is just a collection of standard fairy stories and simple
nursery rhymes. Also included in this demonstration version are a set of
jokes and few tutorials on simple things to make.
I don't really know what else I can say, except that if you decide
you like this book then splash out £5 and send it to the address below,
together with your name (or your child name) and in return I'll send you
the complete Tom's Story Book. This has over 30 stories/rhymes, more than
50 jokes and roughly 30 things to make.
Can't be bad for a fiver can it?
